Fee timeline - domestic fee paying places

This is a review of some of the steps you need to take to meet your fee obligations as a Domestic fee paying student.

What?

When?
1. Read the Government's Going to Uni website for information about Tuition Fee places and FEE-HELP eligibility. Before you complete your eCAF.

2. Decide on your preferred contribution amount payment option, (for which you are eligible), eg:

  1. payment upfront in full
  2. partial upfront payment with the balance deferred to FEE-HELP
  3. defer the entire amount to FEE-HELP

If you choose options 2 or 3 you must provide QUT your valid Tax File Number from the ATO on or before the census date.

Before you complete your eCAF.

When?
3. Submit your electronic 'Request for Commonwealth support and FEE-HELP' - (eCAF) via QUT Virtual. Before you enrol in units for your first teaching period. After this you will only need to resubmit your eCAF if you change your course.

4. Check your Statement of Account in QUT Virtual. Generally available one week before classes start - you will be advised by email. Thereafter updated weekly when you change your enrolment.

5. Make any payments owed according to your Statement of Account. Pay by the due date listed on your Statement of Account.
