You will be required to pay course fees and other costs which may be associated with a specific course when undertaking study at QUT. Fees are subject to annual review and are published by 1 October of each year. More information about study costs is available.
QUT may offer you a Commonwealth supported place or a tuition fee (including Dfee) paying place. Your letter of offer will clearly indicate what type of place you have been offered.
Statement of Account
QUT will provide you with an online Statement of Account on QUT Virtual normally one week prior to the start of your teaching period. An email will be sent to your student email address to notify you that the Statement of Account has been issued.
Failure to pay your fees by the due date on the Statement of Account will result in sanctions being applied and may lead to eventual cancellation of your enrolment.
Note: Students paying tution fees can avoid the late payment penalty fee by completing the 'Request for FEE-HELP assistance' form prior to the payment due date on their Statement of Account. Late payment penalty fees cannot be deferred to FEE-HELP; they must be paid to QUT.
Deadlines
QUT has administrative deadlines regarding enrolment, adding and/or withdrawing units, leave of absence and cancellation of your course for which there may be academic and financial penalties. You must familiarise yourself with these administrative requirements.
